Once you join up how do you meet other Libertarians? Most of the local groups have monthly meetings where you can socialize and discuss Libertarian stuff. The state party has a convention every year where you can meet even more Libertarians and help elect officers.

What if you don't live in Florida, and you have joined and don't know how to meet up with your guys? Check out the "States" link on the national Libertarian Party web site. It has links for all of the states that have state and local organizations. You will find that some states don't have a local organization, and some states don't even have a state organization.

If your state has a state organization go to their web site and it should list the local affiliates of the LP.

You can't find a state organization? Guess what? you may have just become the chairman of your state organization. Well as chairman, show some initiative and contact the national guys and ask them to help you get started.

If you do live in Walton county please join the national party first. Once you have joined you can join our group on Linked in. The details are below. The reason we are limiting membership is that we may use linked in facilities for polls, and possibly to vote on candidates later, so we only want members in this group.

After signing up at Linked in, just click the link below to go to our group. You will have to click the Join button, and we will send you an invitation to join. Please include your member ID, which can be found on the back of your Libertarian Party Membership card when you reply. We only want folks who are actually Walton County Libertarian members as we may use this group to select candidates, vote on proposals and so on, later.
